Preheat oven to 350°F.
Heat sugar, water, olive oil, ¾ tsp cayenne, ½ tsp cinnamon and ¼ tsp of salt in a saucepan until the sugar is melted and the mixture is bubbly; about 5 minutes.
Mix in almonds and stir to make sure almonds are fully coated in sugar mixture.
Pour almonds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread almonds out into one layer.
Bake for 12 minutes, stirring the almonds halfway through baking process.
Allow almonds to cool for 5 minutes.
While almonds are cooling, mix raw sugar, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp of cinnamon and ⅛ teaspoon of cayenne into a resealable baggie.
Add almonds to baggie and shake to coat the almonds in the sugar mixture.
Place in a serving dish and enjoy! Happy holidays!
