Cherry Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh sweet cherries
  • ΒΌ cup honey
  • juice of half a lemon

Instructions

  • Wash and pit four cups of fresh sweet cherries such as Bings.
  • Add the cherries to a food processor along with the honey and lemon juice.
  • Puree the ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour the cherry mixture into an ice cream machine and churn for 15-20 minutes until the sorbet is thick.
  • Eat immediately or pour the sorbet into a metal 9x3" loaf pan, cover with foil and freeze until ready to serve. This recipe makes 4-6 servings.
