Cranberry Sauce

Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups fresh cranberries
  • zest of one orange
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a medium-sized pot.
  • Bring mixture to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook for 12 minutes and until the cranberries have burst and softened and the mixture has thickened.
  • Pour into a bowl and store in the refrigerator. The mixture will continue to thicken as it cools.
