Wash and trim the green beans and add to a resealable plastic bag along with the olive oil, minced garlic and salt.
Finely, but haphazardly chop the raw almonds with a knife. Add to the bag of beans.
Seal the bag and massage the beans, mixing all the ingredients together. Store in the refrigerator to marinate for at least one hour or as long as overnight.
When ready to cook, heat a skillet to high heat. Add the contents from the bag to the hot pan and stir the beans continuously until nice and charred.
Add ⅓ cup of cold water to the pan, immediately cover the pan, and steam the beans until all of the water has evaporated. Serve the beans immediately. Enjoy!
