Add ingredients to a glass mason jar (or similar container) with a tight-fitting lid.
Seal the jar and shake vigorously until ingredients are well mixed.
Place jar in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, shake jar again to break up the chia seeds that have started to clump together (this is normal). Place jar back in the refrigerator overnight or for at least four hours.
