Combine oats, walnuts, onion, garlic, salt, spices, eggs and 3 tablespoons of water in a mixing bowl. Mix with a fork to combine.
In a large skillet heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Divide hamburger mixture into fourths and shape into patties.
Place patties in hot skillet and cook for 4 minutes.
Flip patties and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Add ½ cup of water to the pan and cover. Cook for about 8 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
If topping with cheese, add in the last minute of cooking.
Serve burgers over greens or on hamburger buns, topped with your favorite condiments and toppings. Enjoy!
